It seems like forever I have been working and fighting to fix my driver’s license. My father and I have probably been working for 10-12 years on straightening out my license. We hired lawyers that said they could fix the problem. I would pay them, and then a few months down the road they would say there was nothing they could do. When I hired Mr. Oswalt he did a license review for me and he told me there was no guarantee, but that he thought I would be a fairly good candidate for license reinstatement. I had two habitual suspensions on my record, as well as some other issues. I was leery, of course, because I had paid other lawyers before with no results. Upon receipt and conviction of a driving while suspended ticket, I learned that I had become classified as a “habitual driver” under the State of Kansas guidelines. As a single parent with five children, when my drivers license was taken away by the State of Kansas for three years until 2006 I knew I was in big trouble. Six months ago I called Richard Oswalt concerning my license. My Kansas drivers license was revoked and my record was in bad shape. I didn’t think there was anything that could be done.
